Another reference about Transfiguration appeared in The
Medium´s Book, whose author, Allan Kardec, was the
creator of the Spiritist Doctrine.
In Chapter VI, page 122, he defined the phenomenon:
The "transfiguration“ phenomena consist of a change
in the aspect of a living person's body.“
The transfiguration of the medium involves a sort of
ectoplasmic materialization in the form of a beard,
mustaches, "signs", scars, or other characteristics, which
appeared unexpectedly on the medium's face or also of a
complete mask superimposed on the same.
But the most complete study of transfiguration, including
analyses and cases, was complied by the Italian metaphysical
researcher, Ernesto Bozzano.
