Ernesto Bozzano dedicated extensive research to the study about this mediumship of
Transfiguration, though the collection of cases occurred with certain mediums in several

countries in America and Europe. The transfiguration consists of the changing of
aspects of the body of the medium, which means printing on your subject similarities of

physiognomy, expression, look and even voice timbre, which varies according to the
moral level of the spirit and also of the medium.

Here is another case, extracted from Bozzano´s book Impressionante Phenomenon de
Transfiguação (1940).

Dr. Ellis Powell, a well-known personality in the field of metapsychic investigations,
related this case:

"A few weeks ago, I was in Preston, and I had the opportunity to get in touch with the
mediumistic personality of "Dr. Bancroft", which manifests itself through the medium

HB Tyler, from Preston. The way in which he manifest is the "trance" of the medium,
with complete transfiguration of the face. Dr. Bancroft reported that he was a
physician of great clientele and died in 1837. He provided details about his own

earthly career, which were recognized as true, requiring publications. There were four
people present in addition to the medium: my wife, my sister, my mother and I.

Special arrangements were not made. We sat in a semicircle around the medium,
without lowering the blinds, so that the sun darted in the room.”
